Who We Are

Our Vision

First Reformed Presbyterian Church exists to glorify God by gathering His people in worship, building them up in the faith, and sending them out in witness to the world.

Our Mission

To worship the triune God in spirit and in truth, to make disciples of all nations through the faithful preaching of the Word and administration of the sacraments, and to demonstrate the love of Christ in our community.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you."

— Matthew 28:19–20

What Shapes Us

Worship Regulated by Scripture

We believe God alone prescribes how He is to be worshipped. Our services are ordered by the Regulative Principle — we do only what God's Word commands in worship, and we do it with reverence and awe.

Expository Preaching

The faithful, systematic exposition of Scripture is the centerpiece of our Lord's Day worship. We believe the preached Word is the primary means by which God builds His church and sanctifies His people.

Covenant Community

We are a covenant people — bound together by God's grace, accountable to one another in love, and committed to the mutual edification of every member of the body of Christ.

Gospel Witness

We are called to proclaim the gospel to our neighbors in Minco and beyond. We seek to be a faithful witness in our community, showing the love of Christ in both word and deed.

"The chief end of man is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever."

— Westminster Shorter Catechism, Q. 1
